Tour 1:  Historical City Tour with Schönbrunn Palace (3,5h)

 

With Vienna Sightseeing no waiting time at Schonbrunn Palace! This tourwill give you an overall impression of the most significant historical sights of Vienna. Along the Ringstrasse we show you numerous grand buildings, such as the MAK, the State Opera House, the magnificent Museum of Fine Arts with its world famous art treasures ofthe Habsburgs and the Natural History Museum, etc. We drive past the Belvedere Palace which houses the largest and most previous Gustav Klimt collection in the world.The highlight of this 1 tour will be a visit of the showrooms of Schonbrunn Palace, once OV~ennaS ~ghtsee~ng the summer residence of the Habsburg family and home of Maria Theresia. In case the City Tour ends at Sudtiroler Platz -free transfer to State Opera!

 

 

Tour 3: Panoramic Tour with Boat Ride (3,5h)

 

As an ideal supplement to our Historical City Tour we past the City Park, the Austrian Mint, and the Hundertwasserhaus on the way to the Prater Amusement Park with the Giant Ferris Wheel. We then show you to the Danube Island and the Copa Cagrana, the Danube Park, the Danube Tower and the United Nations headquarters. We drive further, passing houses where Albert Einstein and Beethoven once lived, as well as the Artist’s Colony at the Hohe Warte, with the residences of Alma Mahler-Schindler and Gustav Klimt. Highlights of this tour are the panorama view from the hills of the Vienna Woods over vineyards on to the city and the boat ride on the Danube River (returning on the Danube Canal) to the city centre. Tour 4: Vienna Woods Mayerling Tour (4h)

 

A half-day excursion which shows you the most beautiful sights of the southern part of the Vienna Woods. Passing the Roman City of Baden which is famous for its thermal springs, we drive through the romanticvalley Helenental to the former Mayerling hunting lodge, (visit of memorial chapel), where Crown Prince Rudolph together with Baronesse Vetsera died tragically in 1889. In the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz (1133)you visit the medieval cloister which houses the remains of the last Babenberger. We then pass the Holdrichsmuhle and arrive at the Seegrotte. After a boat ride on the largest subterranean lake in Europe you leave the Vienna Woods and return to Vienna. Drop off: opera

 

 

Tour 5: Danube Valley (full day trip)

 

Through this romantic sceneryfull of history and legends the Danube winds its way past charming old villages and steep vineyards. The old castles tell us about the former importance of this trade- and trafficway, one of them – Durnstein -especially famous, because here King Richard Lionheart was imprisoned, while waitingfor his ransom to arrive from England, raised by his faithful Minstrel Blondel. During a romantic boat-trip the history comes alive. The heart of the C Wachau is the old wine-erchants’town Krems. The highlight of this excursion will be the visit of the Benedictine abbey of Melk, one of Austria’s most famous Baroque buildings, which together with the Wachau area, won the award for “Best Historic Destination of the World” in 2008. Tour 7: Vienna Seranade – Grinzing (3,5h)

 

We start the evening by driving along the Ringstrage on our way to the Viennese amusement park, the Prater.A ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel will give you a marvellous view over the city. Then we drive through the wine tavern village of Grinzing to Neustift am Walde, where the artists of the 1 s t Viennese Heurigenshow will entertain you w ~ t ha select~ono ffamous waltz melod~es,p olkas and romant~c arias & duets from popular operettas! A good evening meal including 114 1 liter of wine together with the unique atmosphere at the wine-tavern and you’ll certainly need nothing more to set you back into the 19th century. Tour 8: Vienna by Night (3h)

 

This excursion gives you the possibility to get to know Vienna better. After a short citytour, in which we show you the Ring avenue with all its famous historical buildings and monuments, we take you to the well known Danube Tower. From its terrace, 150 m above the roofs of Vienna, you can admire the marvellous panorama of our city. This evening will end in one of the traditional wine taverns of Grinzing, where you can enjoy our music and the typical Viennese ambiance. Drop off: Hotel

 

 

Tour 9: Salzburg – Mozart Tour (full day trip)

 

On our way to Mozart’s town of birth you become acquainted with the beautiful Salzkammergut landscape with its mountains and its numerous lakes, where the Emperor Franz Joseph and his family used to spend their holidays. Skirting the Lake FuschI and Lake Wolfgang you reach Salzburg, where you will have time for lunch. The afternoon will be dedicated to a stroll through the old city, showing you the most important sights of this old Bishop’s Seat. These are the Cathedral, the Festival Hall, St. Peter’s Abbey Church and its graveyard I (tomb of Mozart’s sister Nannerl). Of course we will show you Mozart’s birth place in the Getreidegasse. The Edelweiss-song from the movie Sound of Music will come toyour memory, while passing I the horse-pond and from the gardens of Mirabell-Palace you will have a marvellous view of the Hohensalzburg Fortress. Tour 10: Budapest City Tour (full day trip)

 

A drive through the enchanting countryside of western Hungary will take you to Budapest, a city rich in traditions, situated on the banks of the Danube (time for lunch). In the afternoon during an extensive city tour through the districts of Buda und Pest, you will be able to appreciate the historical and cultural importance of this city (city walk). Tour 11: Prague – The golden city (full day trip)

 

After a drive through the characteristic landscape of Moravia you reach Prague, the golden city on the banks of the Moldavia, the economic and cultural centre of Bohemia. Possibility for lunch. Afterwards drive to Hradschin (Royal Palace). In the afternoon we take you on an extensive city tour, showing you the wonderful panorama of the city from Charles bridge, the National Theatre, the elegant residences on the Moldavien river banks, the Jewish cementary (individual visit possible), the Parisian street, the old town square and Wencels square.
